Mental breakdowns are a lot more common than people think. This is not just an issue that only affects the very ill, but one that can affect anyone at any time. Mental health is something we all need to take care of and handle with love and respect.

Our mental health is the core of our being. It controls how we feel, think and act. It’s what makes us who we are. Without it, you or I would not be able to exist, nor live the way that we wish to live life. Mental illness does not discriminate on any level. -If all else fails and you just can’t seem to connect with them, remember that it’s ok if you need a little time apart. They may be going through something that you don’t understand or have never been through yourself, so remember not to take things personally and give them the space they need while still being there for them in any way possible.
