Most people find it hard to take a screenshot on Windows 8. This is because the methods are different from previous versions of windows. Here’s how you can do it in three easy steps:
1) Press the “Windows” button and “Print Screen”
2) Click on where you want your screenshot to be saved
3) Open Paint, paste your screenshot onto a new blank canvas. Save the file as “.png” and then rename it with a .jpg extension if needed. You’re done! Now you know how to take screenshots on Windows 8!
I tried this method out for myself and it worked perfectly. After I took the screenshot, I opened paint, pasted it into a new page, resaved it as “.png”, renamed my file’s extension from “.jpg” to “.png”. And my file is in the right format. I would recommend that if you want to know how to screenshot on Windows 8 then try this method out for yourself and see if it works for you!
